HAPPY REPUBLIC DAY!!!!!

 On June 2, 1946, Italy became a republic. Out of World War II, in a nationwide referendum, Italians rejected monarchy and chose a republican form of government, which began the modernization of the country. It is now a national holiday to celebrate the foundation of the Italian Republican democracy.

The annual gelato festival in Florence has arrived! Deadline: May 18th! The video winner will be broad-casted at the official United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC) Asia-Pacific Regional Meeting taking place on November 2012 in Austria and on the 5th UNAOC Forum will be held in Vienna, Austria, February 27-28, 2013.

Additionally, the contest winner will have his/her video on the Official UNESCO website!
